Veena is a Doctoral Candidate, Centre for China Studies, IIT Madras, working with Dr.Sonika Gupta. She has been honored with Gold Medals for her outstanding academic achievement (First Merit) in her Masters and Graduation in Political Science.Veena has three years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in Dept. of Political Science at Madras Christian College (MCC). She also has online publications of her Articles on various topics related to “Governance in China, Security Issues, Environmental Policy” in CSC website. In addition, she has publication of Book Chapters titled “Indian Federalism in a Transitory Phase: From Asymmetry to Multiculturalism” in Gopakumar (ed) (2011) Foreign Policy, Federalism and International Treaties, New Century Publications, New Delhi.
