Justin Joseph is a PhD Scholar at IIT Madras, working with Dr. Joe Thomas Karackattu. He has an M.A and M.Phil in Politics and International Relations from the School of International Relations and Politics at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. He has carried out an extensive research on issues related to the political debate over climate change on a regional scale includes terrain of the national contours. He is also a member at the International Political Science Association (IPSA). Justin also knows some basic French.
He is currently working on environmental policy making in China, which highlights in depth, the nuances of transformations in state-society relations in contemporary China.
Recent Research Highlights:
Most recently he presented a paper titled “Contours of Political Ecology and Debate on Post-politics in the Context of India’s Western Ghats Conservation” at the 24th World Congress of Political Science by International Political Science Association, 23-28 July 2016, Poznan, Poland.
Recently he presented a paper titled "Greening of the State under Global Climate Change Challenges; People's Republic of China and Climate Governance" in the International Seminar conducted by Association of Political Scientists Kerala (APSK) at St.Jones College Anchal, Kerala between March 10 and 11th 2016.
